Congratulations to our 3rd class pupil Darragh O’Hanlon who represented Aghagower/Cushlough area in the National Community Games Handwriting Competition in Limerick on Saturday. Darragh came 2nd in the whole of Ireland. WOW Darragh – you are amazing. Well done. We are extremely proud of you.
Congratulations to Marion Heneghan, Ella O’Malley and Jack O’Malley who represented Carrakennedy N.S. in the National Concert Hall on Saturday night. They were superb and we are so proud of them. It was a outstanding evening. Ann Purcell led the choir with great energy and enthusiasm. We are really thankful for the amazing experience and journey we have had with the National Children’s Choir this year. We have made memories that we will cherish forever.
We look forward to 2020/2021!

We are extremely proud of our girls and boys football teams who have played so well this year. Our boys are now through to the final of the Cumann na mBunscol. We have enjoyed three great days out in Islandeady, Kilmeena and Castlebar. We would like to sincerely thank Martin Conway and Pat Gavin for all their encouragement and guidance. They have helped us so much. Thank you to everyone for supporting us along the way. We look forward to seeing you all in McHale Park on The 6th June! Time is yet to be decided.
