We had a wonderful afternoon in the garden last Wednesday. We planted lots of trees- Ash, Horse Chestnut, Oak, Blackthorn, Rown, Hazel and Sycamore. These are all in the nursery waiting for cold weather. These seeds need cold weather to grow. We need to keep an eye on them to make sure the little dormouse doesn’t have a feast on the seeds in the coming weeks! We are learning all about trees this year in SESE and will be doing a Tree Project over the course of the year. Keep an eye out for updates!

We also planted some hardy annuals- these flowers will bloom every year. We planted snowdrops, crocus, daffodils and tulips. We look forward to seeing them in the Springtime. They will add some colour to the garden.
