Our pupils enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Cumann na mBunscol competition in Westport, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams representing the school brilliantly.
The girls had an excellent day and were victorious in their match, defeating Lecanvey to secure their place in the semi-finals. Their hard work and determination were rewarded when they received the Tommy O’Malley Shield. The girls now look forward to another exciting day out next week.
The boys also played very well throughout the day, putting in great performances in all of their games. They had a good win over Killawalla and battled hard against Lecanvey.
Well done to all the pupils for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We are very proud of everyone who participated!
