Over the past few weeks, our school community has celebrated several important sacramental milestones. The Sacrament of Reconciliation took place for 1st and 2nd Class on Monday, 20th April, where the children were a credit to themselves in cushlough church led by the excellent Fr Britus. This was followed by Confirmation for our 5th and 6th Class pupils on Thursday, 23rd April, celebrated alongside Lankill NS and Knockrooskey NS, making it a very special shared occasion. Most recently, on Sunday, 3rd May, seven of our pupils—Charlie, Ruby Mc, Ruby Hayes, Cian, Ruben, Caelan, and Freddie—received their First Holy Communion in Cushlough Church. It was a joyful day, followed by a wonderful celebration back at the school. We extend our sincere thanks to the Parents’ Association for their preparation and the tremendous effort they made to ensure such a memorable and enjoyable occasion for the children.
